Today we went to Wylde Green playbarn with Tracey and Sam, and Maxine and the twins. The children had a great time, although Holly is still teething and in need of a lot of cuddles.

This afternoon we played with Alfie’s wooden trainset – or rather I spent lots of time trying to stop Holly from smashing it up and throwing the carriages down the stairs :-/  – and jigsaws, plus changed our bed and unloaded the very large Asda online order that was delivered. the poor delivery man was a bit flummoxed at Alfie continually yelling Dinner Lorry at him, with Holly copying, but took it all in good spirits. Unfortunately the person doing my shop cocked up a bit and I ended up with 4 4pt bottles of skimmed (instead of 2) and none of Alfie’s semi-skimmed milk :-/

Later Alfie and I made some gingerbread men whilst Holly flooded the kitchen playing with water. Poor Rich came in from work to find the kitchen flooded, dough all over the floor, trays of gingerbread in various states of cookedness, toys everywhere, Holly naked, me with no trousers on (Holly soaked them) and his tea only half cooked lol! To cap it all off, Holly jumped onto Alfie’s bed whilst I was trying to put her night nappy on and weed all over it loL! That was when we actually got into Alfie’s room to change them for bed as Alfie said no adults were allowed in there and he had a sign saying so! You got to love them eh!
