A lovely day today. We went to Conkers, one of Alfie’s favourites. We played on the adventure playground, fed the ducks, rode on the buggy (the train was out of service so they had a buggy!), went in the discovery centre, walked around the lake and on the boardwalks, ate popcorn. Then back home he built a train track with his Thomas set with Rich whilst H slept in the car and I had a bath. Then after dinner – fireworks They loved them so much and were jumping up and down in excitement. H is going through a fearful patch so I thought she might be a bit scared, but after clutching me a bit at the first one she loved them It was great to see them so excited and happy
