Journey into Unschooling

More Vomit!!!

February 8th, 2010 by becki

On Saturday night Holly threw up all over our bed :( After changing and flannelling H, changing the bed, covering it in an old towel etc, she still managed to puke all over the sheets and duvet cover again so I sat downstairs with her. What a night! We watched 2 Peppa Pig DVDs, Holby City, Casualty, BBC News….. Basically, I was up from Saturday morning until Sunday night with no sleep :-/ *Hallucinations* Thank goodness for breast milk too – it kept her going and got her off to sleep!

Anyhow, she soon perked up and by Sunday lunchtime was doing painting and eating arrowroot biscuits ;) Alfie and Daddy went out into the garden then constructed diagrams and timetables for planting all the vegetables (peas, broccoli, popcorn, onions, squash, carrots, beetroot, tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkins).

Today we cancelled meeting friends but did pop to Asda to collect my new glasses :) We also cleaned out the fridge, cleaned the bathroom and did lots and lots of playing. In Asda we bought the Peppa Pig game for my DS which Alfie loved playing whilst H had a sleep this morning. He also watched and loved Wallace and Gromit that I’d videoed last night :) He keeps talkign about different ideas for inventions now, and was making strange ones out of various bath toys during this evening’s bath lol! We did 6 jigsaws, including the counting caterpillar one which Alfie loves at the moment as he’s so interested in numbers.
