Yesterday we went to Alton Towers, Alfie’s chosen destination for his birthday
We went yesterday rather than on his actual birthday as the £12 parent/toddler tickets (saving us £70!) weren’t valid after 31st March. after a shaky start to the day in the form of a seemingly neverending Alfie meltdown, we had the most fantastic day
In Sharkbait Reef admiring the fish

The giant crab, taken by Alfie

H on the squirrel nutty ride – which they went on twice

On the Under the Dungheap play are, where we had our picnic. They were fascinated by chasing the projected giant bugs and flies inside the dungheap
Alfie also completed the mushroom maze in record time

Pressing the animal noise buttons before going on the Riverbank Eye Spy boats

On the Doodle Doo Derby whilst we waited for Daddy and Alfie to stop firing balls in the Berry Bish Bash (which H was thankfully a touch too short for so I avoided it lol!). H was thrilled to find a button that made pig noises on the side of her pig

In Old Macdonald’s Singing Barn

Driving the tractor ride (which they also went on twice!)

Alfie also went on Wobble World soft play, on the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride with Daddy, and we all went on the cable cars over the beautiful gardens
A very busy but fantastic day followed by a naughty McDonalds and a late night!
Today we met Harriet, Josh, Archie and Olivia at the Wylde Green soft play for a run around, then spent the afternoon making cut out dinosaurs and doing dinosaur stickering, playing Alfie’s new traffic jam game, colouring, watching Baby Einstein Galileo DVD, sorting washing, playing with various toys and generally recuperating froma busy day yesterday
