Weekend

On Friday I tried out aquanatal at Castle Vale pool whilst Mom had the children. The class was great – but I was the only person there!!!! I’m going to give it another try next week as I really did enjoy it and went in both my previous pregnancies. Afterwards, Mom treated us to a pub lunch, then the children helped me clean and sort :)

Saturday was a glorious sunny day and we met up with Steve and Andy at Wicksteed Park. It was lovely to catch up with my lovely brother and sister-in-law, and the children really enjoyed it. Poor Uncle Steve was adopted by Alfie and ended up carrying him or accompanying him on rides most of the day ;) It’s hard to say who enjoyed the astroglide slide more out of the kids and Rich and Steve ;)

The picture above is Alfie and Steve hooking a fish! Alfie won an iguana called Bananas which is now in his bed along with so many other “friends” Alfie barely fits in ;)

Today, after a mad couple of hours rushing around doing washing and lawn mowing, we went to MAC for a fab play aimed at 3-6 year olds called Claytime. It was basically an improvised play based on children in the audience’s ideas, involving clay models. The kids loved it, and at the end they got to go on stage and make their own clay models to be photographed for the MAC website :) Afterwards lunch, shopping then garden work!
