Journey into Unschooling

Busy Times

May 31st, 2010 by becki

Yesterday we met Granny and Grandpa at Woodside Animal Park in Luton. The children loved it there. There was so much to do, and after a chilly start, the weather was in our favour. I have loads more photos that Grandpa has shared with us, but haven’t had chance to sort through them yet, so will put more up very soon :) It ended up being a very late night for the kids as we stopped off at the Fox for a carvery on the way home too.

A quiet one today. Well, when I actually came to list what we did I realised maybe not so quiet! We did everyone’s baths, then shampooed Alfie’s carpet, then Holly and I walked up the hill to Tesco whilst the boys did “man stuff” (fixing a chair, checking car tyres etc). Holly and I baked bread, Alfie and I baked chocolate muffins and cherry muffins and chocolate and cherry muffins. We weeded and watered the garden and played with Jasmine. Something has destroyed Alfie’s bird feeder. Not only pulled it down and emptied it of seeds (and stolen the whole fat ball) but chewed the actual feeder to bits!!! I cleaned the bathroom, changed Alfie’s bed, put laundry away. Quite busy then LOL!

Excuse the mixed up order of the photos. It’s not accepting my re-ordering, and I’m too tired to put them all on one at a time!
